VireHook ("we", "us") provides AI-generated hooks, captions and video scripts for short-form creators at virehook.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a hashed password when you create an account. We never store passwords in plain text.
- Content you type — the video topics you submit to generate hooks, captions or scripts, and the results saved to your Vault when you're signed in.
- Usage & analytics — anonymous events (page views, feature usage, generation counts). Visitors are identified by a random hashed cookie — we do not store IP addresses in our analytics, and analytics events contain no personal information.
- Payment data — payments are processed entirely by Whop. We never see or store your card details; we only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.
How we use it
- To provide the service (generate content, save your Vault, apply your plan's limits).
- To improve the product (aggregated, anonymous usage patterns — e.g. which topics are most popular).
- To communicate with you about your account (e.g. password resets).
- To measure advertising (see "Cookies & tracking" below).
We do not sell your data. Ever. We don't share it with third parties except the processors listed below, strictly to run the service.
Where it lives
- Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in the US) — accounts, Vault, anonymous analytics.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — the topics you submit are sent to the Claude API to generate your content.
- Whop — billing and subscriptions.
Cookies & tracking
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, an anonymous random cookie for our own analytics, and the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure the performance of our ads — it may set cookies and receive standard events (page views, sign-ups, purchases). You can block third-party cookies in your browser; the product works fine without them.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Deleting your account removes your email, password and Vault content. Just email us and we'll take care of it.
